2023 Equity Research Off-cycle Internship (London)
PLACEMENT AND DURATION
The Equity Research Off-Cycle Internship Program is an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere in the Equity Research Division by taking on some of the roles and responsibilities of a Full-time Analyst for a short period. The Program is for six to twelve months in London and is for recent graduates or those who are due to complete their studies in 2022, 2023 or 2024. This Program has an estimated start date of January 2023. There will also be opportunities to be involved in additional projects to broaden your understanding, as well as improve the productivity and efficiency of the desk.
TRAINING PROGRAM
You will receive on-the-job training and benefit from working alongside experienced professionals on a variety of projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Gather and analyse industry data to develop an industry vision; update and build financial models on the companies and industry you follow.
• Analyse emerging trends in an industry or macroeconomy, write investment notes and report on your team's investment opinions to a sophisticated client base.
• Learn about a specific industry, how to analyse the companies within a sector and how to write to a specific audience.
• Assess relative stock valuations and review findings with senior team members, and with internal and external clients; build relationships with global colleagues, salespeople, traders and external investing clients.

• You have an excellent academic background
• You have strong analytical and numerical skills that put you at ease with financial data
• You are results-driven, and perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines
• You are committed to excellence in your work and maintain high professional and ethical standards
• You articulate complex ideas simply and summarise them effectively
• You must currently be studying an undergraduate degree
• You are a proven team player and can manage a wide range of responsibilities.
