Internship Program
The Summer Associate Program offers MBA graduate students a unique opportunity to gain firsthand exposure to the Investment Banking Division at Morgan Stanley. The 10-week program commences in June, during which participants are placed in a specific group within the division. Summer Associates will work on a variety of projects, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), initial public offerings (IPO), and pitchbooks for business development. Those who perform successfully may be considered for a full-time Associate offer upon completion of the Program.
You will receive both Firmwide and Investment Banking Division-specific training and interact with peers across various locations in the region. The training program consists of business-specific content, compliance topics, and networking opportunities, equipping you with the foundational knowledge and connections to thrive in your role.

Your projects may span a wide range of investment banking activities—from mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and initial public offerings (IPOs) to financing a new venture. You might participate in a competitive auction process to divest a business, identify strategic acquisition targets, or organize roadshows for potential investors in an equity offering.
