Our Company and ISG Spring Insight Event held in our Glasgow office, will provide you with an overview of how our Company and ISG divisions work within Morgan Stanley and the important roles they play at the firm. You will gain knowledge regarding our Finance, Fund Services, Non-Financial Risk, Internal Audit and ISG Financial Crimes Risk divisions and the teams within them.

Company Divisions:
Finance:
The Finance Division reports to Morgan Stanley’s Chief Financial Officer. It is the guardian of the firm’s books and records, and serves as an advisor to Morgan Stanley’s various businesses and senior management team. In addition, the Division is a major contributor to reducing and managing risk across the firm.
Non-Financial Risk:
The Non-Financial Risk “NFR” organization includes the Compliance, Global Financial Crimes, and Operational Risk departments and provides a single, comprehensive, and consistent second-line view of these non-financial risks.
Internal Audit:
The Internal Audit division provides senior management an objective and independent assessment of the Firm’s internal control environment for risk management and governance.
ISG Divisions:
Fund Services:
Using the Firm’s proprietary technology platform, Morgan Stanley Fund Services (MSFS) provides a full range of fund administration services including daily accounting and financial reporting; transfer agency and investor services; middle- and back-office support; and integrated portfolio analytics. MSFS is supported by more than 1400 professionals based in New York, London, Dublin, Mumbai, Bangalore, Glasgow and Hong Kong.
ISG Financial Risk:
The Financial Crimes Risk Team sits within the Firm's business line and is considered the First Line of Defence. It is responsible for identifying, assessing, and escalating potential financial crime and reputational risk issues associated with higher risk client types.
