The successful candidate will join the MSIM Management team led by EMEA MSIM Head and will assist the team across a variety of regulatory and strategic initiatives, as well as business management activities. This internship will provide a unique opportunity to get insights into the inner workings of a large Investment Management organization, and to network with investment and non-investment teams at MSIM.
Training Program

The Off-Cycle Internship is an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere in the Investment Management Division by taking on some of the responsibilities and functions of a Full-time Analyst for a short period.

The internship will commence in January 2026 and typically lasts 12 months. This internship will offer you an exciting and a dynamic work environment where you get to work alongside our diverse group of experienced professionals. The work that you do will be interesting and varied.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) with day-to-day business management activities, ensuring smooth operations across teams
  • Participate in the execution of business-critical strategic and regulatory projects; help map business requirements, prepare project plans, participate in working groups, track action items and deliverables
  • Work and engage with teams across the business (e.g. Investment teams, Product, ESG, Risk, Operations, Technology, etc.) to help deliver cross-functional projects and initiatives
  • Support with preparing presentations for various Boards and Committees, as well as regulator meetings
  • Participate in MSIM governance forums; assist with preparing materials, taking minutes and tracking action items
  • Contribute to budget tracking and ad-hoc analysis for management reporting
  • Help track regulatory initiatives pipeline and interact with regulatory governance teams in the US and Asia as required

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements

  • Graduate degree or ability to take the time off to commit for a full-time internship role for twelve months if you are currently in your final year of university studies
  • Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong academic background with intellectual curiosity and keen interest in financial markets and investment management
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise, manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines  
  • Team player with a proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks
  • Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and engage effectively with stakeholders across multiple teams and functions
