The International Equity team, part of our Active Fundamental Equity capability, follows a disciplined investment process based on fundamental analysis and bottom-up stock selection, with sector, industry and stock weights driven by an assessment of each stock’s quality and value characteristics. The team’s long-term investment horizon seeks high-quality businesses that have the potential to compound shareholder wealth over time.
The Morgan Stanley International Equity Off-Cycle Internship Program in London runs for six months and is aimed at students who are required to complete an internship as part of their studies. This offers you the opportunity to join a world class equity boutique including firm training and networking as well as on the desk training.
Training Program
Interns will receive orientation to the business and team specific core skills essential for success such as financial valuation and modelling.
Responsibilities
Research a variety of equity sectors and contribute to idea generation and portfolio management of international and global portfolios.
Qualification/Skills/Reqs
•You are pursuing an undergraduate or Master’s degree, minimum 2.1
•You have basic knowledge and a keen interest in financial markets and equities in particular.
•You are analytical, adaptive, a leader yet team player, as well as a multi-tasker.
•You possess strong oral and written communication skills.
•You have advanced knowledge of Excel (preferred).
