2018 Equity Research Summer Junior Associate Program - Sophomore (New York)
During this 10-week program, Summer Junior Associates are placed directly into one of the following sector teams: Commodities, Consumers, Energy & Utilities, Financials, Health Care, Industrials, Materials, Media, Strategy, Telecommunication or Technology. The placements are made based on demand, the skill set of the candidate, and candidate preference.
The Summer Junior Associate Program begins with a training and development curriculum that will equip you with the fundamental and professional skills that you need in order to be successful in Equity Research. After 5 days of training, Summer Junior Associates spend the program within a specific industry group, building a strong foundation in the basic skills of financial analysis, accounting, and valuation.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze industry data to develop an industry-specific vision.
- Update and build financial models on the companies and industry you follow. •Analyze emerging trends in an industry or macro economy.
- Assess relative stock valuations and review findings with your team.
- Build relationships within Sales & Trading and Research.

- You are pursuing an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree (sophomore) with a graduation date of December 2019 or Spring 2020.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.

- You possess strong oral and written communication skills.
