2018 Human Resources Summer Analyst Program (New York)
The Human Resources Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week program beginning in June that offers an intensive hands-on introduction to Human Resources at Morgan Stanley. The Program provides broad exposure to various functions across Human Resources, as well as in-depth exposure to one specific function, based upon the Summer Analyst's placement.
TRAINING PROGRAM
The Summer Analyst program begins with one week of Firmwide and HR specific orientation and training that includes exposure to each of our functional areas. Throughout the program, Summer Analystsparticipate in a speaker series, networking and educational events. At the end of the program, Summer Analysts present to HR senior management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Creating reports to provide compensation and headcount analytics information to management.
Partnering with different HR teams to implement programs and initiatives designed to attract, retain and motivate employees.
Collaborating across the various HR teams to evaluate and reengineer processes to drive greater operational efficiency.
Supporting client delivery teams with their business unit partnerships by assisting in employee relations investigations, and fielding client inquiries regarding Firm policies and procedures.
Obtaining a broad understanding of the HR operating model and its departmental interdependencies.
QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS/ REQUIREMENTS
You have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
You have excellent leadership, analytical and communication skills.
You are a team player who can work in a collaborative environment.
You demonstrate attention to detail, exercise sound judgment and can handle sensitive information with discretion.
You have strong time management and multitasking skills and can handle multiple responsibilities and projects with competing priorities and deadline.

You demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to get the job done.
You are proactive, motivated, and possess poise and self-confidence.
Preferred majors: Human Resources Management, Finance, Business Management, Economics, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, Communications or Psychology
