Parametric - Corporate Communications Internship 2023 - Seattle
Parametric is part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, the asset management division. We partner with advisors, institutions, and consultants to build portfolios focused on what’s important to them and their clients. A leader in custom solutions for more than 30 years, we help investors access efficient market exposures, solve implementation challenges, and design multi-asset portfolios that respond to their evolving needs. We also offer systematic alpha and alternative strategies to complement clients’ core holdings.
Intern roles at Parametric will be part of our hybrid working model – this includes working in the office 2 to 3 days a week and choosing where one works best the remaining days of the week. Eligible applicants must be able to work in assigned office. 100% remote is NOT available.
Office Location: Seattle
Expected base pay rate set at $25 per hour. Position is not eligible for benefits.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Are you looking to work collaboratively with a team of communications professionals to both build your knowledge of how the function works and to ensure you deliver the professional quality outcomes you are striving for? Our growing company is looking for a corporate communications intern for the summer of 2023.
As a corporate communications intern, you’ll play an impactful role across multiple projects on a growing and dynamic corporate communications team. You’ll also have an opportunity to learn about the financial services industry and the innovative investment strategies that are pushing it forward.
At Throughout your internship you will engage with work and projects including:
- Supporting internal and external communication campaigns through communications and active participation in events
- Writing and edit news articles for internal website and newsletters
- Supporting the planning and organization of employee town halls and internal leadership forums
- Assisting with measurement and reporting with respect to the effectiveness of internal and external communications
- Supporting the Corporate Communications department ranging from print media to web and social media
- Compiling research and clippings
- Assisting in the development of press materials
- Assembling materials for communication projects/programs
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Strong interest in pursuing a long-term career in corporate communications
- Currently studying communications or public relations field
- Interest in traditional media, social media & journalism
- Entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to manage complexity and multi-task
- Driven and motivated individual who seeks to continually grow and learn
- Appetite to learn how content strategy, communications, and traditional marketing meet digital
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage multiple projects at once
