Placement and Duration:
Analysts may be placed in the following areas within Institutional Securities Group (ISG) Finance: Balance Sheet and Capital Management, Fixed Income and Commodities, Institutional Equity, Investment Banking, and ISG Consolidated Reporting.
Training Program:
The Full-time Analyst Program includes a one-and-a-half day Firmwide orientation, followed by a two-week business unit-specific training program led by the Firm’s Learning & Development department. The training program focuses on business, technical, and professional knowledge specific to Morgan Stanley. Analysts will also attend additional Finance-specific training designed to provide a deeper understanding of the organization. roficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Responsibilities:
• Work collaboratively in a high-performing team to ensure the integrity of Morgan Stanley’s books and records
• Provide reporting and analysis to Business Units, Senior Management and Regulators
• Continuously improve or enhance processes for increased control and/or efficiency
• Serve as a respected partner to key constituents, including regulators, business units, shareholders, and the board
Qualifications/Skills/ Requirements:
• You are currently a Senior completing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related major
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• You possess excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills; you have strong teamwork and collaboration skills; you are motivated and resourceful; you possess project and process management capabilities; you demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• You demonstrate a strong interest in financial services
