This is an internship opportunity in our Institutional Equity Division within the Sales & Trading department based at our Paris office. The internship will be 6 months in duration starting in May 2017.

The Off-Cycle Internship Role in Institutional Equity

The Institutional Equity division is a global leader in the origination, distribution and trading of equity, equity-linked and equity-derivative securities. Interns will have the opportunity to develop and master the analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills they will need to succeed. The firm’s organizational structure offers opportunities for collaboration with more experienced colleagues and interaction with senior professionals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conducting several analysis
Daily flows Cash/PTs/ETFs
Pre-trades
Post-trades
Best execution reports
Developping trading tools in VBA
Cross-asset idea generation
Monitoring of program trades
Skills Requirements
Strong analytical and numerical skills that put you at ease with financial data
Results-driven, able to perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines
Proven team player with the ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities
Committed to excellence in your work and maintain high professional and ethical standards
Ability to articulate complex ideas simply and summarise effectively
Sound in both verbal and written communication
You have an excellent academic background, preferably at Master's level and excellent communication in both English and French
