Parametric is part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, the asset management division. We partner with advisors, institutions, and consultants to build portfolios focused on what’s important to them and their clients. A leader in custom solutions for more than 30 years, we help investors access efficient market exposures, solve implementation challenges, and design multi-asset portfolios that respond to their evolving needs. We also offer systematic alpha and alternative strategies to complement clients’ core holdings. Intern roles at Parametric will be part of our hybrid working model – this includes working in the office 2 to 3 days a week and choosing where one works best the remaining days of the week. Eligible applicants must be able to work in assigned office. 100% remote is NOT available. Must be able to work in one of the following offices this summer. Could work from any of the following offices: Alpharetta, Seattle, New York We are looking to hire a total of 6 summer interns on the team. See below for specific technical skills required for various teams. Start date is June 12, 2023.
Expected base pay rate for the IT roles will be set at $27 per hour. Position is not eligible for benefits. Apply by March 31, 2023.

An Intern on the Equity Investments and Client Activities team will be responsible for assisting with the design, development, and integration of technology solutions to support all aspects of our equity investments platform. In this role, the Intern will leverage new and existing technologies to build and maintain services that scale the platform, including on-prem systems and cloud native AWS micro services. |
Job Requirements |
– Some coursework towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study preferred – Some project experience in software development – Familiarity with Javascript, REACT, C#, or other related programing language – Cloud native development experience a plus: AWS is preferred, but not required – Strong aptitude for highly efficient data structures and algorithms – Familiarity with relational databases and SQL – Proven track record of becoming a subject matter expert in areas related to current assignments. – A creative, self-confident self-motivator with a "can do" spirit. – Passionate, forward thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and integrity. – Effective communication skills with business users and other developers
