Responsibilities / Job Description:
MSEP is looking to hire Post-MBA Associates with experience in the energy sector for its New York and Houston offices. Should you have interest in a particular location, please indicate this via your cover letter. Post-MBA Associates are expected to evaluate new investment opportunities; lead transaction execution; develop capital structure and valuation views; monitor portfolio companies to maximize value; and manage relationships with management teams and corporate and financial sponsor partners. Post-MBA Associates work directly with senior-level decision-makers including the fund’s investment partners and leaders of current and prospective portfolio companies.
Qualifications for the Post-MBA Associate position include:
Superior academic and performance record
MBA from a top-ranked business school
At least two years of experience at a leading investment bank or management consulting firm and two years of direct private equity investing experience
Strong analytical, valuation and communication skills
