You have experience in at least one of the following programming languages – Java / C++ / C# / C and preferably have object-oriented skills & knowledge on UNIX; Strong at algorithms and Data structures.

Technology Internship Program

Curriculum
The curriculum includes technology training, orientation to the Firm, an overview of the securities industry, senior manager presentations and professional skills workshops. Highly skilled instructors - both external and internal - conduct training while emphasizing the Morgan Stanley development environment and infrastructure. Interns receive formal evaluations and informal feedback at several points during Internship. This program prepares Interns to build applications and infrastructure on distributed and e-business platforms. The curriculum also includes intensive and advanced work in C++, Java, Unix, Windows, Perl, .NET, C#, Spring framework, object-oriented analysis and design, relational databases, middleware, XML/SOAP, messaging, systems architecture, systems integration and Firm-specific tools.
Final Projects
The 8-weeks Internship will be held in Mumbai / Bangalore and will kick off in May 2017. Interns spend the 8 weeks of training on projects, sponsored by Morgan Stanley groups seeking technical solutions to real business needs. Projects are designed to integrate business concepts and technical skills taught in the program, reinforce values through teamwork, and provide smooth transition to future work groups. Interns are required to apply the appropriate technologies to complete the projects according to the specifications and needs of their clients and sponsors.
Individualized Placement
Interns are offered a tailored and individualized approach to placement, having the opportunity throughout the program to meet with managers.
Launching Your Career
Our technology teams are tasked with meeting clients, analyze requirements, make system design decisions, evaluate and develop software in various Investment Banking functions like Front office trading, risk management, corporate banking, wealth management, and treasury operations etc. for products in equity, advisory, fixed income, FX and derivatives. Developing high performing low latency electronic trading systems across multiple asset classes, providing sophisticated risk management analytics and systems, and evolving complex workflows and life-cycle management capabilities across increasingly sophisticated products are just some of the many projects available for developers within our technical organizations.
