Placement and Duration
The Corporate Services division in Asia is responsible for the daily office operations of 42 buildings across 10 countries with a 2M square foot portfolio. The Corporate Services Summer Analyst is a two months program based in Hong Kong, offering you the opportunity to learn about the Corporate Services division through real-world project based experience. Following an initial period of training and induction, you will be assigned to the Business and Branch Management team, which consists of several diverse functions that facilitate organization efficiency and cohesiveness. Interns are treated as full-time members of the team and work alongside experienced professionals at all levels.
Training Program
Summer interns participate in an orientation day and training program and will be given extensive learning opportunities including technical training and lunch-time speaker series with senior executives, mentoring, networking, charity and social events. The program is thirteen weeks long, commencing in June.
Responsibilities
- You will spend the 13 weeks working closely with your colleagues across Corporate Services, working on real projects to support the division.
- You will have a junior and senior mentor to aid in your development and to provide greater exposure to Corporate Services and the Firm.
- You will be required to play an active role in various projects. Examples include the redesign of the Corporate Services Portal, content creation for the Global Corporate Services Jive social media website, a large-scale SharePoint data modification project and assisting with data analysis and financial reporting.
- You will participate in a mid-summer and end-of-summer evaluation to ensure that you are honing your skills and receiving timely feedback on your performance.
Qualifications/ Skills/ Requirements
- You are an undergraduate in your penultimate year of study.
- You possess strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
- You are able to communicate clearly and succinctly and thrive under pressure and ever-changing situations.
- You analyse and interpret complex information quickly and accurately.
- You actively generate and share new ideas and are committed to achieving your career goals.
- You are a team player and are client-service oriented.
- Fluency in English required.
