Join Morgan Stanley Code to Give Hackathon - a hybrid competition to build creative technology solutions for a nonprofit partner. You will work in teams to solve a technical challenge for our NGO partner.
Who?
We are seeking current students or recent graduates who are skilled in programming and passionate about leveraging the power of technology for social good.
Applicants should meet the below qualifications:
- Graduating between October 2025 to July 2026
- Pursuing studies in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering and / or related technology majors – other majors may be considered
- A well-rounded academic background
Participants will be considered on an individual basis. If a candidate would like to be paired with other applicant(s), they could indicate preferred team member(s) name and email at later steps. We cannot guarantee that team preferences will be honoured but will make every effort to do so.
When?
Register your interest by Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 11:55 p.m. HKT. The Hackathon runs from Thursday, August 22, 2024 to Monday, August 26, 2024. Successful applicants will be notified via the email address provided during registration.
What to Expect?
- Thursday, August 22 afternoon - Virtual meeting with your team and mentor
- Friday, August 23 to Monday, August 26 morning - Virtual working together with your team and mentor
- Monday, August 26 afternoon - In-person team presentations, winner announcements and celebrations in Morgan Stanley Hong Kong and Singapore office
Morgan Stanley Hong Kong/Singapore Office - participants have to attend this Hackathon in-person at office
